Students and families who believe bullying may be occurring should report the concern through Epic Charter Schools’ Awareity reporting platform. You don’t have to determine whether an incident officially “counts” as bullying before asking for help. If you’re concerned, submit a report or talk with a trusted adult.

To report a concern, go to the Epic Awareity reporting platform and select the appropriate bullying or incident-reporting option. Provide as much information as possible, including what happened, when and where it occurred, who was involved and who witnessed it. Attach screenshots or other relevant information when available, then submit the report.

Families play an important role in helping students feel safe and supported. If your child tells you they’re being bullied, listen and give them time to explain what happened. Let them know they did the right thing by telling you. Save relevant messages, screenshots, and other information, then submit the concern through Awareity.

Continue checking in with your child after submitting the report. Stay in contact with the appropriate school staff and watch for changes in your child’s mood, behavior, school participation, or relationships.
