Assets

Epic Charter Schools is proud to offer every student the educational technology they need to be successful. It is with this mindset that we allow each student the opportunity to use their Learning Fund to purchase a Laptop, Wireless MiFi, and a variety of educational assets. While the assets belong to Epic Charter Schools, they are lent out to the students each year and must be returned when the student graduates, withdraws, or for any other reason the student’s status does not reflect “enrolled” with Epic Charter Schools.

Policies & Procedures

Wireless Hotspot (Mifi)

  • MiFi devices are at a 3:1 ratio. This means for every three students enrolled on the same learning fund account, one MiFi device is allowed.

  • A family may request a secondary MiFi due to varying circumstances. These circumstances are reviewed and subject to the sole discretion of the Asset and Learning Fund department.

  • MiFi connectivity issues may occur. When this happens, Epic will review if the MiFi provider is suitable for the student’s location.


Chromebooks and iPads

Students may use their Learning Fund to receive a Chromebook or iPad.  Students may not get both. iPads have a limited supply and are not guaranteed to be available. Effective with the 23-24 school year, there will be no charge to receive a chromebook. However, we will charge the student’s Learning Fund for lost and damaged technology. 

Standard charges for other tech offerings remain the same. 

Asset Returns

There are several ways to return our devices!

You can:

  • Complete one of the forms* below

  • Bring them to our Tulsa office, Oklahoma City office, or one of our Learning Centers

  • Drop them off at any UPS Store in Oklahoma

    • Use the instructions listed​ to the right

    • If you only have a UPS drop-off location in your local area, we can send you return materials, just complete the form(s) below.

UPS Instructions

Customer Instructions:

  1. Locate the nearest participating location by either of the following two options:

    • Go to theupsstore.com/locations, enter your address information, and choose the most convenient location.

    • Or call 800-789-4623 and request the nearest UPS store location.

  2. Please take this document to the UPS Store location and tell the center associate you are part of the Corporate Retail Solutions Student Returns program for EPIC Charter Schools.

  3. This program has been designed to provide Pack and Ship services.
