Our mission is to offer a premier dance academy in Oklahoma City for youth to learn the art and athleticism of ballroom dance, which is called “DanceSport” today. Our goal is to provide a safe place and expert instruction for the youth to achieve results and strive to become better artists, athletes, confident individuals, and caring citizens with respect for the opposite sex. Ballroom dance is an athletic endeavor that offers true gender equality and, of course, promotes a lifelong healthy lifestyle.
When combined with a knowledge base, ballroom dance is a vehicle to promote many other complementary objectives. Some of those other proven complementary beneficial outcomes that will be taught in the Oklahoma Youth Dance Connections Programs are: social manners, discipline, self-confidence, team pride, sports ethics, music appreciation, mathematics, history, cultural awareness, and emotional intelligence.
