Explore what your future might look like during Epic’s College and Career Week. The week’s featured high school event is the College, Career and Military Fair, held after Epic’s Innovators Day program on Tuesday, Nov. 10.

Students in grades 9–12 can meet exhibitors, ask questions and learn about college programs, career paths, military service and more. The fair will take place from 1:30–3:30 p.m. at Epic Charter Schools – 50 Penn Place, 1900 NW Expressway, R3, Oklahoma City, OK 73118. Students should come prepared with questions, speak with exhibitors and complete a short reflection afterward.

The fair builds on a day of creative thinking. Epic’s Innovators Day features the Science Fair, Spark Tank and STEAM activities, giving students opportunities to practice problem-solving and explore entrepreneurship and emerging careers. At the College, Career and Military Fair, students can also try VR career exploration to get a closer look at possible paths.

A Week of Career and College Exploration

College and Career Week offers grade-appropriate activities that help students connect their interests and strengths to future opportunities. Educators may choose one core activity or combine options to fit their instructional setting.

On Monday, Nov. 9, Industry Day introduces students to the ways industries organize work, meet community needs and bring together different occupations. Tuesday, Nov. 10, Innovators Day focuses on creativity and problem-solving, followed by the College, Career and Military Fair for high school students. On Wednesday, Nov. 11, Military and Veterans Day, students will honor service while learning about military careers and transferable skills. Thursday, Nov. 12, College Day connects programs of study to students’ goals. The week wraps up on Friday, Nov. 13, CareerTech Day, with a look at hands-on programs, credentials and pathways to high-demand careers.

The week also includes Letters to Heroes, an outreach project open to all students, families and staff. Participants are invited to write messages of support for military personnel deployed overseas.

Whether students already have a plan or are just starting to explore, the College, Career and Military Fair is a chance to ask questions, discover new options and take a practical step toward what comes next.
