Epic Charter Schools Innovators Day Brings Big Ideas to OKC and Tulsa
Curious minds, creative projects, and hands-on learning come together at Epic Charter Schools' Innovators Day. Students in grades 1–12 are invited to experiment, invent, build and explore during two free events in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.
Innovators Day includes a science fair, Spark Tank projects, and hands-on STEAM activities. Students can enter a project, take part in creative activities or simply come see what they can discover.

What Is Epic Charter Schools Innovators Day?
Innovators Day is a free event where Epic Charter Schools students can investigate scientific questions, develop original ideas, and enjoy interactive activities in science, technology, engineering, art and math.
The event is open to students of all experience levels. Participants don’t need to submit a project or enter a competition to attend. They can join the hands-on activities, meet other Epic families and spend the morning exploring new ideas.
Put Your Curiosity to Work in the Science Fair
Does your student have a question they’ve always wanted to answer? The Innovators Day Science Fair gives them a chance to investigate it.
Students can design an experiment around a topic that interests them, test their ideas and share what they discover. It’s a great opportunity to practice scientific thinking while building confidence and communication skills.
Bring a Big Idea to Spark Tank
Spark Tank invites students to turn an idea into an invention, product, service or solution. Participants can identify a problem, develop a creative response and present their idea through the Spark Tank experience.
The focus is on imagination, resourcefulness and problem-solving. Students don’t need to have a fully developed product or business. They just need an idea they’re excited to explore.
Explore Hands-On STEAM Activities
No project? No problem.
Students do not have to enter the Science Fair or complete a Spark Tank project to participate in Innovators Day. Every attendee can enjoy hands-on activities involving:

Math
Students will have opportunities to build, experiment, create, and discover alongside other Epic Charter Schools students. Whether they’re future scientists, aspiring inventors, enthusiastic builders or simply curious about how things work, they’ll find something worth exploring.
