Epic Charter Schools Announces Five National Merit Scholarship Finalists
OKLAHOMA CITY (March 11, 2026) – Five students from Epic Charter Schools have been named finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program. Victoria Biederman of Tulsa, Judah Brown of Claremore, Oliver Clyde of Edmond, Tanner Jenkins of Ponca City and Owen Terry of Coweta now join roughly 15,000 other finalists nationwide in competing for 6,930 National Merit Scholarships.
“These exceptional young people represent the top 1% of students who took the PSAT in the nation,” said Epic Superintendent Shaun Ross. “These students have represented themselves and their families with distinction, and I wish them luck on their journey to become National Merit Scholars.”
To become a finalist, each semifinalist and a school official must submit a detailed scholarship application, in which they provide information about their academic record, participation in school and community activities, demonstrated leadership ability, employment, and honors and awards received. Complete qualification details are available here.
Scholarship winners will be notified in the spring.
