The Tulsa SPCA is partnering with Epic Charter Schools for a one-day community service event for Epic students in grades 3-12.
Join us from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 22 at Tulsa SPCA, 2910 Mohawk Blvd., Tulsa, OK 74110. There, volunteers will be divided into three groups. Jobs may include cleaning kennels and cat/kitten colony rooms, helping feed animals, prepping items for the dog shelter, reading and socializing the dogs, helping with laundry and dishes, and working in groups in the warehouse. For each group, there is a possibility of getting dirty so please wear long pants and closed-toe shoes.
To take part in this event, please follow these steps:
There is no cost to attend this event. Parking is free and checkin begins at 9:15 for a 9:30 start time. This volunteer activity is only for EPIC students and parents. By registering for a ticket using Eventbrite, your reservation will be held. Please register yourself and your students. This enables the participating location to staff and plan appropriately.
As a reminder, if you sign up to come but are unable to make it, please cancel your reservation using your Eventbrite confirmation email. This will open up spots for others to join.
If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email from Eventbrite to let you know if the activity has been canceled.
Thank you for your interest and we look forward to seeing you there!
