Tulsa Theatre Works is a theatre education outreach organization, providing quality instruction and performance opportunities at no cost to students aged 10-18 who experience barriers to the arts. We offer traditional classes for performance disciplines (acting, movement, music), training in technical elements (set, lighting, costuming, props), and other collaborative aspects of live-stage storytelling (playwriting, directing, etc.).
We also partner with Celebrity Attractions, TPAC, and other community theatre entities to ensure a variety of experiences, suited to your groups' needs.
Currently, we have two ongoing in- and after-school programs, sponsor and teach four Tulsa EnrichED afterschool theatre clubs, and are holding auditions for 'The SpongeBob Musical: Youth Edition', to be performed in late February. In addition to regular programming, we hold audition workshops, Masterclasses and Discussion Panels with touring Broadway musicals, and limited workshops open to the public. We garner our Teaching Artists and Production Staff from local professionals and certified educators.
All of our programming and performance opportunities are FREE and open to all of Tulsa and surrounding area youth.
