About the Club
Club for students to explore coding in a fun & friendly environment. GWC values diversity, equity, and inclusion focusing not only on gender diversity but also on young women who are historically underrepresented in computer science fields. The group is divided into two cohorts: 3rd-5th and 6th-12th. Students meet once per week for ≈1 hour over a period of 10-12 weeks via Zoom.
The curriculum and club t-shirts are free.
The Girls Who Code Clubs meet at the following times:
Virtual 3-5th Thursday 1:30 pm
Virtual 6-8thThursday 2:45 pm
Virtual 9-12th Fridays at 8:30 am
Requirements
Registration for Semester 1 closes September 1st. Forms can be found in the Parent Portal: Go to Student Profile>Student Forms>scroll down to Specialty and Advanced Courses>then click on the form.
