Horse Powered Reading program. We combine horsemanship learning and Reading. Our program should be considered for a PE credit. Students will learn the importance of caring for a horse before being able to ride, such as grooming, tacking, untacking, cleaning stalls, and feeding. Has they progress through the program they will learn how to do groundwork with the horse. During ground work the student will have to complete a scavenger hunt while leading their horse by reading and deciphering clues by solving riddles or math problems in order to proceed to the next stage of the scavenger hunt.
