क्लब के बारे में
4-H is America’s largest youth development organization empowering nearly six million young people with the skills to lead for a lifetime! In 4-H programs, kids and teens (9 to 19 years old) complete hands-on projects in areas like health, science, agriculture, civic engagement and many more in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.
We are so excited to announce that Epic will be offering a local 4-H program again this year! Members will attend monthly virtual meetings and there will be other opportunities to participate in county and state events and contests. Epic 4-Hers will not only be able to participate in our Epic led 4-H activities, but also get to know more 4-H members in their county of residence and participate in events alongside county volunteers and Extension Educators. For more than 100 years, 4-H has welcomed young people of all beliefs and backgrounds, giving kids a voice to express who they are and how they make their lives and communities better!
4-H members are 4 times more likely to give back to their communities and 2 times more likely to make healthier living choices. The 4-H motto is “To Make the Best Better” and that is exactly what we plan to do with our new Epic 4-H Club! Members will learn the importance of the Head, Heart, Hands and Health of every member and how each of those “H’s” can contribute to society. If you are interested in joining the Epic 4-H Club, please fill out the following form. We can then send you the enrollment information to make sure you get signed up correctly and can participate in local, county, district and state events and contests.
Your Epic 4-H Club leader is Missy Quintero. She is currently a Managing Director of Instruction for Epic Comet Academy Middle School & High School and is definitely 4-H Grown! Missy was the State 4-H President when she was a member and was selected as a State 4-H Hall of Fame Winner amongst many other 4-H honors. She has remained an active 4-H Volunteer and is recently serving as the State President of the 4-H Volunteer Leaders Board, as well as on the Advisory Committee to the State 4-H Foundation. Missy is a dedicated 4-H alum and wants to share the 4-H story with everyone!
Meetings are virtual. Meetings are held at 6:30 pm on the 3rd Monday of the month. Meetings will begin in September and will run until April (March will be skipped due to Spring Break).

4-H is for students ages 9-19 (or you can be 8 years old as long as you are also in 3rd grade).
Epic Comet Clovers 4-H Club does not have designated different clubs for Cloverbuds vs. regular 4-H club at this time.
However, as long as younger members are attentive and participate in our meetings, they are always welcome to come! It's never too early to learn to be a good human!
To join 4-H, you will need to enroll through the website. https://4h.zsuite.org/
You can select Epic Comet Clovers as one of your club choices and then can select a local club in your county to also join. There is an enrollment fee that will need to be paid to be an official member of 4-H which will allow you to participate in local, county, district, state and national events and contests. The Learning Fund will NOT pay for these dues. You can pay your dues online during enrollment, or you can simply drop a check off at your county extension office.
