Askew Ballet Academy offers ballet classes for students ages 3 and up. The focus of our school is on developmentally appropriate training in classical ballet, with emphasis on each student's health and well-being. We provide the training necessary for a professional career in dance, but also welcome students who enjoy dancing but don't have aspirations for a professional career. We believe that everyone benefits from dance training - poise, confidence, problem-solving, self-discipline are all developed through involvement in dance, as is a strong and graceful physicality. Students have opportunities to participate in performances such as year-end recital presentations and ballet such as "Peter & The Wolf," as well, as dance is a Performing Arts.
