I have been teaching driver education for over 10 years, and I have helped hundreds of students become safe drivers. I am passionate about my job, and I love seeing my students succeed. In my classroom, I create a positive and supportive learning environment. I use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities. I also use a variety of technology tools to enhance my teaching. I believe that all students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. I am also a firm believer in the importance of safety. I teach my students the rules of the road, and I also teach them how to anticipate and avoid hazards. I also teach them how to handle emergency situations. I want my students to be prepared for anything they may encounter on the road. SCHEDULE OF FEES Compact Package $325 - 10Hrs classroom time, 6 Hrs. BTW Additional Behind The Wheel Lessons $150 - 2Hrs. Cancellations $35 Returned Checks $50 No Call/No Show $50 Driver Education is a 16-hour course. Ten (10) hours are classroom instruction hours, and six (6) hours are behind-the-wheel driving. Our classroom instruction is typically completed in two to three sessions. The behind-the-wheel instruction is done on a one-on-one basis; the instructor and one student. The drive times will begin and end at 918 Driving School. Students perform three 2 hour drives to complete the 6 hours. Students may take Driver Education anytime after their 15th birthday; however, they must be 15 ½ before they can get their permit.
