DEAR's motto: "Freedom to Soar" reflects our mission--to release dyslexia's grip on the 3 areas of human communication: visual, verbal, and auditory processing for every person who seeks help from DEAR. We believe the literacy commission delivered on Mt. Sinai is for everyone. Every individual should be free to develop their full potential unhindered by dyslexia. Through DEAR's unique approach to dyslexia's root cause, students encounter the structured, mastery-based, and completely individualized program which brings freedom from struggles in a variety of areas of their life. The 3 R's (reading, writing, and 'rithmetic) are on DEAR's radar. Non-readers (of any age) or struggling readers achieve the ability to read with a phonics-based mastery approach which quickly helps the student catch up to grade level with Easy Stories (Levels 1 - 5). Correct penmanship and basic math review is available as the student gains freedom from dyslexia.
Reading assaults the bastions of slavery and servitude! Dyslexia is often the chain that binds an individual to mediocrity, lack of self-confidence, and a dismal future. Consistent one-on-one instruction by a certified dyslexia instructor in DEAR tutors the student through the average 9-12 month program, setting them up for a life of success.
