The Epic Chess Club is designed to give students an opportunity to learn the game of chess, improve their chess skills, and to enjoy challenging their peers.

The ancient game of chess can develop confidence, critical thinking, problem-solving, strategy, and decision-making. Our goal is to encourage all of these, but our main focus will be to inspire learning, sportsmanship, and fun. 

Meetings:

Chess Club meets are in zoom on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month. Please check your Google Calendar for the invitation. You may only join from an Epic Charter School email address.

Start Up Chess Club meets at 2:00 PM on Tuesday and Advanced Chess meets at 3:00 PM. You will get a gmail calendar invitation based on your level.
