Our museum offers several hands-on classes for students in grades PreK-12th grade. Each program is around 60 minutes in length on average. Activities in each program align with Oklahoma Academic Standards and STEM principles and encourage students to use problem-solving skills through teamwork and communication. The content of our programs focuses on natural and life science themes and concepts that integrate a fun, hands-on learning approach. Both real and replica skulls, bones, and skeletons are utilized in our classes. Classes offered include Owl Pellet Dissections, Locomotion & Skeletal Adaptations, Amazing Animal Adaptations, Keys to Identification, Animal CSI, Forensic Osteology: Human Skulls, and Forensic Pathology: Human Skulls. Scavenger Hunts are available for every student to complete in our museum gallery.
