I believe all children can learn! I have found that building relationships and incorporating student's interests, while filling learning gaps with research-based practices, are the keys to learning success.
I have taught in the public-school setting for 18 years in a variety of roles. I am certified in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, as a Reading Specialist, in Mild to Moderate Special Education and in English as a Second Language.
I offer tutoring and enrichment services for PK-5th grade in the areas of reading, math, writing, science and social studies. With my background in Early Childhood and Special Education, I can also support with strategies for fine motor skills as well as offer social/emotional supports such as social stories, visuals cue cards and visual schedules.
I have availability morning, afternoon and evening. I offer tutoring services in your home, my home or via Zoom.
