Math+
အစီအစဉ်အကြောင်း
Math+ is a math curriculum option for students in grades 6–12, offering two options: Live and Unplugged. Both options pair students with certified math teachers and feature courses built in Schoology that are fully aligned with Oklahoma academic standards.
The Live option requires students to attend scheduled classes via Zoom.
The Unplugged option is asynchronous, with students working independently and completing proctored assessments and check-ins as assigned by their Math+ teacher.
All Math+ students have access to office hours and homework help for additional support. Regular weekly engagement and maintaining the instructor-set pace are required for both formats.
Accelerated (LEAP) courses are available for 6th and 7th grade students, allowing them to progress more quickly and complete Algebra I by 8th grade—without skipping any essential content.
Honors courses are also offered for Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, and Pre-Calculus, providing a more rigorous experience for advanced students.
Students enrolled in courses from 6th Grade Math through Pre-Calculus are eligible to participate in Math+. The program supplements its teacher-created curriculum with tools like ALEKS, Derivita, and Desmos Activities.
Students who are performing below grade level in math may require additional support and instructional time. A limited number of MathLab seats are available for those who qualify based on benchmark assessments and teacher recommendations.
To be successful in Math+, students must be able to work independently using a computer and various online platforms. They will need to complete and submit assignments online, communicate with their instructor via email, and participate in virtual meetings and office hours.
