I am a piano teacher with over fifteen years of teaching experience. I charge $80/month for weekly, one-on-one half-hour piano lessons. Students are required to have access to a piano in good repair or an 88-key, weighted keyboard with a foot pedal to use for practice between our weekly lessons. Lessons primarily take place in my home, but I am able to offer virtual lessons on occasion, as needed. My instruction includes reading music, musical theory, technique, performance, and more. No prior musical experience is required from students or parents, but a commitment to practicing at home is essential to a student's success on their musical journey. I offer a free, half-hour trial lesson to introduce the basics of piano and give families an opportunity to see whether or not it's a good fit before committing to lessons.
