For over 20 years now The bART has been a downtown Tulsa community music school providing opportunities for musical expression and self-discovery in ALL stages of life. Through our music school, pre-college preparatory conservatory program, and our outreach programs in Tulsa and Union Public Schools, we have fulfilled the need for music education for thousands of children and adults in the Tulsa community. We want to help students realize their full potential musically and beyond, inspiring resilience and creativity, developing problem-solving skills, and learning how to express themselves through multiple disciplines. At The bART Center for Music, students are engaged in a variety of musical instruments and disciplines through the aid of our skilled teaching artists, many of whom are avid local performing musicians themselves. Learning experiences and opportunities include: *Group classes for young beginners *Private instrumental lessons *Jazz piano *Voice lessons *Music theory *Composition *Arranging *Songwriting *Multiple performance opportunities and recitals in public venues such as: Philbrook Museum of Art, Mayfest, and other community events *We also have a NEW state of the art recording studio available at a discounted rate to students and families of The bART!
