The Knight School Oklahoma City

11102 Stratford Dr #500, Oklahoma City, OK 73120, USA

Chess naturally supports STEM education by strengthening analytical reasoning, computational thinking, pattern analysis, hypothesis testing, and structured problem solving. Students learn to evaluate variables, predict outcomes, test strategies, analyze mistakes, and adapt solutions based on evidence. These are all skills that transfer well beyond chess.

The Knight School Oklahoma City is an educational enrichment provider that develops higher-order thinking skills through professionally designed chess instruction. We use the game of chess as a vehicle to develop and strengthen critical thinking, logical reasoning, mathematical thinking, problem-solving, executive functioning, concentration, perseverance, creativity, and responsible decision-making. Our curriculum combines structured instruction, guided practice, and interactive learning activities in an engaging environment developmentally designed and targeted for pre-school, elementary and middle school students. Students participate in engaging, age-appropriate lessons that build confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
