Hugo Jiu Jitsu teaches the Basic skills of self defense and sport jiu Jitsu for kids and adults ages 3 and up. We offer a repeating Gracie jiu Jitsu 16 week curriculum that includes verbal commands, and situational awareness for children’s self defense as well as judo and wrestling takedowns, sweeps and submissions. We focus our kids program on teaching children not to be the bully but being confident enough to dissolve a conflict without fighting, while able to protect themselves and others if necessary. Brazilian jiu Jitsu was brought to the United States by the Gracie Family and their techniques are used and taught around the world for self defense and sport martial arts.
