Student Programs

The Club is a place where students can gather weekly to discuss and learn how to cultivate good mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health. We will discover lifelong skills, including self-care, healthy coping habits, and what to do if the student or someone they know is in crisis. It also serves as a safe space where students can share and connect with others. The club is a project of the Epic Multicultural Programs Team.

Advanced Placement® is college-level coursework and exams students can take in high school to receive college credit based on their scores. All motivated and academically-prepared high school students are able to enroll in AP® courses as long as the student has taken the recommended prerequisite courses. The student and parent/guardian must sign the AP® Contract in order to participate in the course. 

Epic Collegiate Academy dual credit pathway of concurrent enrollment courses that is structured to allow eligible high school students to earn a college degree alongside their high school diploma.

Epic Music Program offers live, once weekly piano, guitar, drums, and choir classes via Zoom with certified music instructors.

The mission of the Epic Gifted and Talented Program is to identify and provide students who possess exceptional qualities the direction, time, encouragement, and resources to maximize their potential. Whether it be in the area of intellectual, creative thinking, leadership capacity, visual and performing arts or in other specific academic areas, this program exists to meet the needs of every student who takes part.

Math+ offers live, math classes via Zoom with certified math teachers. Students in grades 3 & 4 meet three days a week during 50 min sessions, and grades 5 -12 meet two days a week with 75-minute sessions. Unplugged classes that only require attendance for check-ins and proctored assessments are available in grades 6-12.

Peer Tutoring is a new program at Epic created to offer quality tutoring classes to students in 3rd-8th grade. Our tutors are high achieving Epic high school students who receive class credit for tutoring via Epic Live!

Courses are available in Spanish, French, German, ASL, Chinese and Latin. Students will develop communication skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. As they explore the language and culture, students will strengthen their critical thinking and problem solving skills.

zSpace is the ultimate virtual reality learning experience that improves student outcomes and increases student engagement through fearless learning.

The Aspiring Leaders Program for Students (ALPS) is designed to empower high school students to become autonomous learners and agents of their own change, while developing a comprehensive set of soft skills each student can rely on through leadership practice.

Epic Art Program offers live, once weekly art classes via Zoom with certified art instructors.
Students will explore a variety of artists, art processes and materials such as drawing, painting, printmaking, two & three-dimensional design, and digital art. Art students are required to attend and practice weekly.

Epic Live is a learning platform that allows Epic educators and administrators to collaboratively schedule, enroll, track, and perform live instruction.

The Epic News Network is more than just a school newspaper. We are all things journalism and creative media. We now offer multiple courses which allow students to get hands-on learning taught by professional media specialists. All student work feeds into our journalism program which is published on epicnewsnetwork.org.

Hispanic Programs is dedicated to cultivating a community that supports, empowers, and celebrates our Hispanic students here at Epic Charter Schools. We aim to honor the rich cultural diversity within the Hispanic/Latinx population through culturally relevant instruction, events, and resources. Our focus is not only on celebrating culture but also on promoting academic excellence and educational empowerment.

Native American Programs is designed to address the unique academic and cultural needs of our Native American students at Epic. This includes promoting academic success and cultural awareness among Native American students, as well as fostering understanding and respect for Native American cultures among non-Native students.

Esports is a great way to get Epic students involved in a community that is built around the passion of gaming. Esports curricula ensures Epic students are future ready candidates in the esport and gaming industry.
