The ORU music therapy clinic provides evidence-based music therapy treatments to address therapeutic goals in the physical (sensory-motor), cognitive/academic, speech-language and communication, and social-emotional domains. Services include, assessment, establishing therapeutic goals and objectives, treatment planning, implementation, documentation, on-going evaluation, and termination. Services include developmental and educational programs using a variety of music therapy techniques and models including neurologic music therapy (NMT) and music centered psychotherapy.
